Modesty, Shame is From Īmān

عَنْ [أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عُقبةَ بنِ عَمْرٍو الأنصاريِّ الْبَدْريِّ] رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: (قالَ رسولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلاَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ الأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ"). رواه البخاريُّ.
Translation
From Abū Masʿūd ʿUqbah bin ʾAmr al-Ansārī al-Badarī (raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu) who said:
The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wasallam) said, "That which the people came across from the speech of the (era) of the first prophethood is that when you have no shame then do as you wish."
